Students are seeking advancement in the field where mediation and dispute resolution is a priority. Many of these courses touch almost all professional careers, we all have to deal with conflict and understanding how it works, how to resolve it, and the legal system through which it flows is essential to preparing professionals to handle situations in the workplace. These courses will also offer additional options to our HR and Criminal Law emphasis students, whose career directly involves conflict resolution on a daily basis. This emphasis also offers a course in Divorce and Family Mediation, meeting the needs of students who have requested more content in Family Law. This emphasis has been a very successful hybrid program and was requested by our online students; we expect significant enrollment numbers in these courses.
