You’ll be a great fit for this elementary education master’s degree if you have a bachelor's degree in any field and you’re looking to work with students in grades K–8 but not seeking teacher certification. This program is ideal for someone currently working or looking to work in a school or other type of learning environment engaging with children.
In order to complete all coursework, you’ll need access to children in a professional or community setting throughout this program.

Elementary teacher master’s degree courses
You’ll take courses to prepare you to work with students in grades K–8 in a variety of settings. You’ll finish the program with an applied research project in which you’ll identify a challenge in a setting working with children and complete a literature review to design and implement an intervention.
What can I do with a master’s in elementary education?
This elementary education degree prepares students who want to work as non-certified educators with children in grades K–8. After completing this program, you'll be prepared to fulfill school-based educator roles. Graduates of this program could also pursue jobs in community settings, such as at the YMCA or Boys & Girls Clubs.
